Our first talk in The Gentle Start series, “Natural Birth: Peaceful, Powerful, Possible”, was a beautiful success!
Held at Nile River Montessori, the session brought together expectant mothers eager to prepare for one of the most meaningful journeys of their lives — the birth of their child.
Led by Nur Hafiza Kemat, a Certified Birth Doula, Childbirth Educator & Transformational Birth Support Coach, the session guided mothers through the natural process of birth with clarity, compassion, and evidence-based wisdom.
Participants shared that they gained confidence, awareness, and practical tools to approach childbirth with calm and trust in their bodies. Many left feeling more empowered and ready to welcome their babies with peace and presence.
This gathering was not only informative but deeply supportive — a space where mothers could connect, share, and feel understood in their unique paths toward motherhood.
All proceeds from the event were dedicated to supporting Reading on the Pitch, a nonprofit initiative promoting children’s literacy and education through the joy of soccer — helping young learners grow both in mind and heart.

Nile River Montessori is more than a nursery — it’s a gentle beginning for families.
Located in Dokki, near Zamalek and Mohandessin, we offer an authentic Montessori environment that nurtures each child’s independence, curiosity, and joy.
Our community is beautifully diverse — a melting pot of intercultural, expat, and mixed families, as well as Egyptian parents, who all share one vision: offering their children the best start in life through a natural, respectful, and holistic approach to growth.
At Nile River Montessori, we embrace natural parenting, respectful care, and authentic Montessori education, creating a safe and loving space where children — and parents — grow together in harmony.
