Our School
Nile River Montessori is an international bilingual educational community in Cairo, welcoming children from infancy through the Elementary years.
Since 2018, we have created carefully prepared environments where children are given the time, freedom and guidance to develop independence, confidence, curiosity and a deep love of learning.
Our approach follows the child through the different stages of development — from the earliest years, when the foundations of personality are being formed, through childhood, when imagination, reasoning and an understanding of the wider world begin to flourish.
English and Arabic are part of everyday life within a diverse community of Egyptian and international families.
Our Beginnings
Nile River Montessori was established in 2018 with the support of the Montessori Foundation of Egypt, the AMI Affiliated Society in Egypt. Our early development also benefited from the guidance and support of AMI Trainer Lhamo Pemba.
Since then, our educational practice has continued to grow through AMI training, mentorship and international exchange, drawing on Montessori expertise from different parts of the world while remaining deeply connected to the children and families of our own community.
